The Hospital Research Committee (HRC) of Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center is established as part of its mission and vision to produce scientifically and ethically acceptable and comptetive research activity papers. It promotes research activities in the different divisions of the hospital through trainings, workshops, and consultation. One of its many objectives is to provide venue for research dissemination like research forum and publication.

HRC has two subcommittees, namely: the Technical Review and the Ethics Review subcommittees. The membership and chairmanship of HRC shall be determined by the Medical center Chief on a yearly basis. The HRC members are usually the training officers or research coordinators of every Clinical Department in the hospital and representative from the nursing and administrative divisions.
